Donnie Hamhans, Originally from Newfoundland, raised in Lunenburg, NS. Always been a music lover. Hates the “divide” between music genres and how most stations have to adhere to one particular genre. The Great Divide hopes to bridge the gap and play “good” music, regardless of genre or age. Listen to Donnie 7-9 pm every Wednesday!

The Time Machine The Time Machine
-
Bob MacDonald hosts “The Time Machine” on CoveFM every Wednesday night from 9pm to Midnight. It’s an oldies show (which makes Bob well-qualified to host it since he is OLD lol -less than a year to Old Age Security baby! YeeHawwww!). Musically, the intent of the show is to play songs you’ve heard before but which aren’t already being played to death. Everything gets thrown into the mix: easy-listening, pop, folk, country-rock, rock, bits of heavy rock, new-wave and even a couple of punk tunes but MOSTLY it’s good music that most people will find listenable. Not a lot of country (except for frequent requests from long-term listeners) As well as the music (which ranges from early 60’s until 2018) I try to give some time-machine related information: e.g. what song was #1 on this date in past years AND a selection of “on this date in music history” items at various spots in the show. Bob most certainly makes it entertaining and informative.
